My Mission

Southern Land Photography was born out of a passion for the Australian landscape and it’s incredible wildlife. After years of exploring the vast corners of Australia, I felt compelled to capture it’s magnificence and share it with the world. From the windswept deserts to the lush coastlines, from iconic native animals to expansive alpine peaks, every photo reflects my love for my homeland and a commitment to capturing its natural beauty.

My Story

Southern Land Photography was born from a lifelong passion for wildlife and nature. As a kid I was more interested in BBC Natural History documentaries than I was in fictional films. As a teenager I was inspired by the work of photographers such as Ansel Adams, Steve Parish and Ken Duncan. This lead to an interest in stills and video cameras, which ultimately developed into a career as a television cameraman. Photography has always remained a passion and now, 30-years on, I’ve built a solid collection of Australian landscapes and wildlife images which I share here.
